In 1984, when he was just 28 years old, Dewey purchased a 2-office real estate company with his former Alabama teammate Allen Crumbley. Established in 1959 as Tropical Realty, Dewey and Allen aligned their company with the Prudential Real Estate network in 1988. At that time, the company had 2 residential offices and approximately $10 Million in sales volume. By, 2005 they grew the company to 15 residential offices and $1.1 Billion in sales volume—essentially growing the company 100 times its original size!
